The following are the events planned so far. However, it should be noted that the schedule can change and events may both be added to and removed from the schedule as circumstances dictate: Followers Quiz Night - Report on the evening 16 teams contested The Followers’ Quiz Night 2010. After much heart-searching the Mike Rayer “Hand Picked VI” decided to defend their title despite the counter attraction (?) of Wales v France on TV. The quiz was a closely fought event with the lead changing hands several times. Eventually “Jackpot Tickets” proved too strong for “Hand Picked VI” by two points with “Wiff Waffs” coming third. “Them” and “And Us” fought out the battle for 16th place with “Them” winning the Easter Eggs. The profits from the evening will go to our two charities. This will be added to the money already raised from the Carols Evening and New Year’s Eve Party. The final amount will be announced on this website and in the match programme. My thanks to everyone who came along, particularly Jane Roberts for her arithmetic skills, Margaret, Geoff and Hayley for running the raffle, Nos for the food and the bar staff for keeping the liquid flowing.
